SUZI QUATRO & CHRIS NORMAN

Suzi Quatro iniciou carreira profissional em 1972 em Inglaterra, mas já andava no meio artístico desde 1964 nos Estados Unidos, de onde é natural, numa banda chamada chamada Pleasure Seekers formada com as suas 3 irmães Arlene, Patti e Nancy Quatro, (ainda tem um irmão Michael Quatro, também músico), mas foi como solista em Inglaterra, que conheçeu um estrondoso sucesso, que se estendeu por toda a Europa e Austrália até 1982.
Chris Norman apareceu mais ou menos na mesma época como vocalista da banda Smokie, esta banda gravava para a Rak Records, a mesma editora discográfica de Suzi Quatro, a partir daí surgiu a ideia de juntar os dois artistas num dueto, corria o ano de 1978, quando surgiu nas paradas de sucesso o single "Stumblin´In" que foi um grande sucesso comercial um pouco por toda a Europa.
Entretanto com o fim dos Smokie, Chris Norman mudou-se para a Alemanha e continuou a fazer sucesso por terras germânicas. Suzi Quatro viu a sua popularidade decair a partir de 1983 e esteve algum tempo "parada" dedicando-se à sua carreira de actriz e gravando alguns discos diferente e de maneira esporática, mudando de estilo, já que o Glam Rock não é mais moda, e continua em actividade de palco com projectos e espectáculos essencialmente na Europa de Leste entre outros.

1978 - STUMBLIN´IN
Este foi talvez o maior êxito comercial de Suzi Quatro, neste dueto com Chris Norman, ex-vocalista da banda Smokie. Este single trazia no lado B um outro dueto entre ambos "A Stranger With You" que não chegou a alcançar o mesmo sucesso de "Stumblin´In" no lado A deste single que foi um enorme êxito em 1978 um pouco por toda a europa.
Mais tarde em 1992, Chris Norman e Suzi Quatro voltaram a juntar-se num novo dueto "I Need Your Love", mas não conseguiu alcançar grande êxito, obtendo apenas um sucesso relativo. Este tema para além de ter sido lançado em single, também foi incluído no album "The Growing Years" de Chris Norman, mas nunca entrou no alinhamento de nenhum disco individual de Suzi Quatro.
Em 1995 Suzi Quatro voltou a regravar uma versão mais acústica de "Stumblin´In" numa versão mais slow (lenta) que está incluída no album "What Goes Around" que é um album dedicado a novas versões de alguns dos seus maiores sucessos do passado.
